Xynova
3/F, 19 Building, 2 Yongtai Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China
Overview
Founded less than two years ago, Xynova develops full-stack dexterous hands combining hardware, materials, motion control and manipulation algorithms. Its product line includes Flex 1 — a tendon-driven hand launched in August 2025 with a 380 g palm and payload capacity exceeding 30 kg — and Flex 2, introduced in May 2026 as the industry’s first hybrid tendon-driven plus direct-drive bionic hand with 23 degrees of freedom and a palm weight under 400 g. The company reports industrial-grade durability (tendon lifespan over 1.5 million cycles and whole-hand lifespans exceeding 1 million opening/closing cycles) and claims its hands have passed high-low temperature, vibration and drop tests. Xynova has expanded rapidly to a team of over 300 people, including more than 150 R&D staff, and established a 5,400 sqm factory in Hangzhou with targeted annual capacity of 10,000 units by year-end. Its investor base comprises major industrial and internet strategic backers, and the company has completed consecutive financing rounds totaling about ¥1.5 billion within months, positioning it for mass-production deployment in industrial and consumer scenarios.
