Yego operates a shared electric motorcycle service and has expanded into other micromobility segments such as e-bikes and e-scooters. The fleet comprises 1,850 electric motorcycles across Barcelona, Valencia and Bordeaux (the latter via a franchise), plus 200 bikes in Barcelona and 200 scooters in Bordeaux; the company expected to reach 2,350 vehicles by the end of summer. Its motorcycles are manufactured by German firm Emco. Yego launched a new division for e-scooters and e-bikes prior to the COVID-19 lockdown and plans to use new funding to accelerate that business. The company reported €3.3 million in revenue in 2019, generated a 20% EBITDA that year and for the first time recorded positive net results. Yego employs 65 people and aims to grow both revenue and headcount (targeting a 20% increase in staff).
