YellowDog provides a Cloud Orchestration and Workload Scheduling platform that uses advanced machine learning to predict the compute resources needed to execute complex computational workloads. The platform harnesses underutilized compute and multiple clouds to deliver accelerated computing, accuracy and speed on demand without fixed investment. YellowDog serves over 1,500 customers in 42 countries across Media and Entertainment, Financial Services and Aerospace. The company intends to use the funds to increase the scale of its current rendering business and to further extend its presence in the financial services market, building on its 2018 expansion into that sector. Led by CEO Gareth Williams and headquartered in Bristol, UK, YellowDog added Reid Downey to its board; Downey brings enterprise software and cloud sales experience from Microsoft. The company secured £2.5m in additional funding to support these growth initiatives.
