Yhangry operates an online marketplace to book private chefs for curated at-home dinner parties, covering ingredients and service. Launched in December 2019, the platform has served more than 7,000 Londoners and lists 130 vetted chefs. Menus start at £17 per person for six people, and 70% of customers had never used a private chef before. During COVID lockdowns the company pivoted to virtual chef classes and now expects demand to grow as indoor and outdoor dining reopens. Yhangry plans to expand into key European markets including Paris, Berlin, Lisbon and Barcelona. The seed funding will be used to double the size of the team as it scales.
