Ymmunobio is a preclinical-stage oncology biotech developing new classes of antibodies based on a novel CEACAM antibody platform that functions as both a checkpoint inhibitor and an immune agonist. Its pipeline comprises two candidates: YB-200, a humanized anti-CEACAM1 antibody with a direct immune agonistic effect in addition to checkpoint inhibition, and YB-800, a first-in-class humanized antibody targeting NPTXR, which is selectively expressed on tumor cells. Both antibodies are being developed for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. YB-200 received orphan drug designation from the US FDA for liver cancer in February 2023.
