Yolo Health, run by Health ATM India Pvt. Ltd, operates walk-in kiosks staffed by a medical attendant that perform quick health check-ups and deliver instant health reports, with video-conferencing for clinician consultations. The company plans to develop Health ATMs that will also dispense generic drugs and to strengthen its product and technology capabilities to improve virtual care. Yolo intends to expand and scale virtual-care touch points by collaborating with hospitals, state governments and CSR foundations, and aims to set up 100 virtual care touch-points across rural and urban communities in 2017. The startup was founded in 2015 and is Mumbai-based; it has a team of 13 people and has tie-ups with Dr Balabhai Nanavati Hospital (Mumbai), Glocal Hospitals (Kolkata) and corporate partners including Dell, Intel, Indian Railways and Essar Steel. Financially, the company received an investment from an angel network and will use the funds for Health ATM development, research and marketing.
