Yoni Circle is a membership-driven social app focused on connecting womxn through storytelling via moderated live video "Storytelling Circles" and a curated library of recorded stories powering Yoni Radio. The live Circles are 60-minute moderated sessions with up to six participants led by paid, trained "Salonnieres," while users can also record and publish stories as public or private profile content. The app has been in beta since April 2020 and is now making a public launch; it reports members from 1,000 cities across 80 countries. Yoni Circle is available free on iOS and plans to monetize later with an Audible-like credits model for access to Circle sessions. The team of seven is based in Los Angeles and New York and plans to expand into paid web-based events and in-person gatherings over time.
