YoRipe is a personalised cooking and grocery lifestyle app for Asians that curates recipes and generates smart grocery lists based on user inputs. Users can set dietary preferences (for example ketogenic, pescatarian, or low-sugar), desired outcomes, number of diners, and culinary proficiency to receive tailored recipe recommendations. The application currently hosts over 1,000 Asian-inspired recipes and has over 4,000 early adopters. YoRipe has attracted around US$300,000 in pre-seed funding from Antler, NUS Enterprise and angel investors. The company partners with household brands such as Lee Kum Kee and Knorr and local artisanal brands like Kroodi and Modern Mum to expand recipe options. Planned product developments include enabling grocery delivery and adding fridge-aware features to manage available ingredients and recommend recipes to save money and reduce waste; the mobile app is available free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
