The company reported bookings growth of over 80% in 2017 and said it expects to double revenue over the next 18 months. Yottaa is expanding its worldwide sales organization to scale global revenue and meet growing demand. Yottaa offers a SaaS eCommerce Acceleration Platform built on its patented ContextIntelligence™ architecture to accelerate, manage, and secure end‑user experiences in real time with zero code change. Since launching the platform in 2013, the company has secured hundreds of eCommerce destinations as customers, including Puma, Hallmark, Kraft, eBags, King Arthur Flour, Jo‑Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, and Moosejaw. Yottaa reports its technology can improve web page load speeds by 40–60% and says many Internet Retailer 500 customers have realized billions in incremental revenue. The company announced a $13 million funding round led by Stata Venture Partners with participation from existing investor General Catalyst. Yottaa will use the funding to grow sales, marketing, engineering, and network operations worldwide and to scale to meet growing demand for its platform. The company also appointed Rich Stendardo as CEO to expand its leadership in eCommerce acceleration. Yottaa provides a mobile and web performance platform that enables end-to-end acceleration, protection and visibility for web applications across the wired and wireless web. The company closed a $16M financing and plans to use the proceeds to accelerate its hybrid cloud network, build sales and marketing operations, and grow its engineering teams in both headquarters. Yottaa offers cloud-based web performance monitoring, front-end optimization, and a content delivery network (CDN) aimed at startups and SMBs. Its Site Speed Optimizer serves over 100 million unique visitors per month and the company has attracted more than 80,000 business customers; roughly 5% of web users have visited sites accelerated by Yottaa’s network. The company combines patented cloud-routing technology and front-end optimization (two patents granted, eight pending) and recently launched a mobile acceleration solution developed with partner MocoSpace. Yottaa operates with near-50 employees, the majority based in China, while maintaining headquarters in Boston. Recent hires and board additions include former Yahoo CTO Raymie Stata and sales executive Morris Porter. The team is prioritizing faster product release cycles and plans to roll out larger products approximately every three months.
