Yottar provides a SaaS platform that maps electrical distribution-grid capacity to show where power is available for new data centers, EV chargers, solar and battery installations, and other medium-sized electricity demand projects (roughly 1–5 MW). The product combines regulator-published distribution network data, licensed private datasets, and anonymized customer connection outcomes to produce detailed site-level capacity maps. Customers pay a per-seat fee plus a usage charge based on the number of sites evaluated; notable customers include Tesla and the U.K. National Health Service. Yottar positions itself against consultants and other startups in the space by offering mapped capacity rather than disputing utility-reported headroom. The company is launching a feature to quickly identify locations capable of supporting upgrades or new equipment. For now Yottar operates in the U.K. and is eyeing expansion to the U.S. and other markets.
