YouChip began as a sensor- and positioning-based sports data project and later pivoted to a video-focused product called SportCut that auto-generates clips and reports by marking passes, shots, goals and other moments. SportCut launched sales in September 2025 with a subscription priced at ₽5,000 per month or ₽40,000 per year per device and is used by more than 30 hockey clubs. The company reported ₽1.5M in revenue in the six months after launch and saw monthly revenue of over ₽1M in March (a 146% month-over-month increase); overall pilot deployments previously produced about ₽2M. YouChip does not yet report profit and continues to develop features (including exploring neural-network functions) while expanding sales into youth teams, other sports and planned European pilots. The team has moved away from requiring trained specialists for each game and is focused on making the product simpler and scalable for clubs and broadcasters.
