YourDost is an online counselling and emotional-wellness platform that provides anonymous access to psychology, counselling, career and life-coaching experts. The service is free and available via a web portal and mobile app, allowing users to engage in live chat, receive answers over email, or book appointments. The platform works with about 350 experts and conducts over 800 one-on-one sessions daily, serving over 400,000 unique users. Founded in December 2014 in Bengaluru by Richa Singh, Puneet Manuja, Satyajeet Nandekar and Prakhar Verma, the team spent the past 1.5 years strengthening the product and building user awareness. YourDost has raised $1.2M in funding and intends to use part of the proceeds to hire senior professionals for key leadership positions. The company previously raised $400,000 in September from angel investors including Phanindra Sama, Aprameya R and Paula Mariwala. Ten months into operations the startup reported almost 70,000 users, 40% month-on-month growth, a team of over 75 experts and about 300 one-on-one interactions daily.
