YourQuote is a Delhi-based original-content and digital community startup available on iOS and Android. The mobile-first app lets users create and share short quotes and text in English and 15 other languages, and hosts over 4.5 million posts from more than 500,000 users. The platform has seen monthly growth of 20–30 percent. Incorporated in early 2017 by Harsh Snehanshu and Ashish Singh, the company focuses on vernacular and short-form video content. It plans to use the $1 million seed capital to enhance product and growth, expand its video platform, and scale the community across India. YourQuote intends to monetize via native advertising and will launch a new one-minute video creation and sharing feature on the app by the end of December. The startup was part of Axilor’s 100-day accelerator (Summer ’17).
