YourWelcome provides tablets and associated software into vacation rental, Airbnb and corporate letting properties to improve the guest experience through an information portal and guest communication tools. The software enables guests to order services such as taxis, food and tickets directly from the property. The company plans to use the recent funds to open a new office in Florida to develop its US sales distribution and to launch a second product, YourWelcome Advance, an advance check-in tool. YourWelcome Advance is designed to verify contact details and ID and to upsell room upgrades, airport transfers and other services. The company is led by CEO Henry Bennett and has grown distribution significantly since the start of 2018. It is now used in over 9,000 properties globally and counts clients including Jeeves Vacation Rentals and Made Comfy. YourWelcome supplies an 8-inch tablet pre-loaded with custom hospitality software for vacation rentals and short-term lets, aimed at AirBnB hosts. Hosts who rent the device can add user-generated welcome and instructional videos, curate daily local offers, and mount the device on a stand or wall for guests. On arrival, guests can instantly view host-generated content and hyper-local recommendations to enhance their stay. The company is led by CEO & co‑founder Henry Bennett and COO & co‑founder Paul Loram. YourWelcome raised £1m in a seed round at a £5m pre-money valuation and has raised approximately £1.4m in total funding to date. It intends to use the new capital to pursue international expansion in the US, Europe and Asia.
