Overview
Yozio offers a growth platform and analytics tools that let mobile developers track and optimize user acquisition via organic channels (SMS, email, social) and deep linking. The company launched a Yozio Deep Link Drill Down feature to surface in-app conversion rates from deep links. Yozio says its platform has produced more than 75 million mobile app installs and is used by customers including Pinterest, Etsy, and Airbnb. The startup highlights client results such as Airbnb’s 300% increase in organic Android downloads in one month, Pinterest’s more-than-double iPhone download rates, and Washio’s referral install rate rising to 25% from under 1%. Yozio aims to address mobile fragmentation by giving analytics across operating systems, app stores, and mobile browsers where platform providers’ tools are limited. Founder and CEO Lei Sun previously worked as a growth engineer at Yahoo Frontpage and Netflix. Yozio is coming out of stealth with an organic mobile growth platform that helps companies grow their mobile apps without paid advertising. The platform is built on a real-time data pipeline and machine-learning infrastructure. Key capabilities include closed-loop attribution of impression, click and install; deeplinking; in-app personalization; competitive benchmarking; and analytics and segmentation. Customers can use the platform to identify which campaigns and channels are working and to optimize messages and content to increase free installs. The company is led by CEO Lei Sun and CTO Li Hong. Yozio raised a $1.6M seed round to support the platform’s launch and growth.
