Yummygums is an Amsterdam-based vitamin startup producing vegan, additive-free fruity gummies designed to make healthy habits enjoyable for adults and children. The company offers an 11-product range targeting a variety of life stages and health goals. Its products are already available across the UK with nationwide distribution in Well Pharmacy and Tesco. To support retail growth and product development, Yummygums appointed Ruben Hijl as Head of Sales and Tim Wolters as Head of Product. The company plans to launch five new products this year and use new funding to accelerate growth and expand further into the UK market. CEO Ruben Balian said the share-funding approach allowed fans and customers to become investors and increase their involvement with the brand. Yummygums is a Dutch startup founded in 2017 that makes vitamin gummies intended to make daily supplementation more enjoyable. Its current product range includes three SKUs: Multi+ (family multivitamin), Hair (hair, skin and nails), and Mommy (pre/during/post-pregnancy). The company sells primarily direct-to-consumer through its own webshop and since 2020 has listed its full range with national drugstore chain Etos. Yummygums reports brand awareness of more than 40% among vitamin users in the Netherlands. The team plans to use growth capital to increase marketing in the Netherlands and Belgium, expand distribution into physical retailers in other countries, and accelerate internationalization in markets such as France and Germany. Management also expects further growth from expanding the product range and introducing innovative new products.
