YYoga is a Vancouver-based yoga and wellness company that operates physical centers and class programming. Founded in 2007 by Lara Kozan and CEO Terry McBride, the company currently operates seven centers throughout British Columbia and runs over 700 classes per week. YYoga has raised $9m in capital from backers including Fiore Capital Corp. and Beedie Capital Partners, with participation from undisclosed private investors. Beedie Capital’s Managing Partner, Randy Garg, will join YYoga’s board in conjunction with the funding. The company plans to use the proceeds to expand in the Vancouver area—opening two locations within the next twelve months—and to enter the Toronto market.
