Zaapi provides MSMEs with a mobile-first interface to create online stores and digitize selling, buying and financing functions. The app was launched in 2021 by Wilfried Buiron. Six months after launching, Zaapi was powering about 10,000 businesses across 70+ cities in its first market, Thailand. The company raised seed funding to accelerate product development and regional expansion. Management says the latest round will allow Zaapi to triple down on efforts to build and scale a best-in-class product regionally. The company is based in Singapore.
