Overview
Zamp provides a treasury management platform that enables businesses worldwide to place surplus cash into U.S. Treasury bills and notes via brokerage accounts held with BNY Mellon Pershing. The platform is positioned as a corporate treasurer for firms of all sizes, including startups seeking capital preservation rather than yield-seeking. Zamp partners with BNY Mellon Pershing, which the article notes manages over $2 trillion, and its customers’ funds are kept segregated in brokerage accounts. The company raised a $21.7 million seed round last year and publicly commented on that fundraise for the first time in this article. Zamp declined to disclose total customer counts but said more than 100 businesses signed up in the two weeks after the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. The startup plans to add additional financial instruments over time and has evaluated sovereign funds and corporate bonds, saying future offerings will depend on customer demand.
