ZappFresh is a meat delivery platform that sells fresh meat, seafood and ready-to-cook items through its app and website. It sources meat and fish from local farms, processes them at plants and customises pieces before home delivery. The company is operational in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru and was founded in 2015. ZappFresh plans to launch new product lines including additional poultry, goat meat, seafood and ready-to-eat items to broaden customer choices. In FY23 ZappFresh reported revenue of Rs 70 crore and a profit of Rs 3.5 crore; it delivers around 4,500 orders daily with an average basket size of Rs 600. Proceeds from the latest funding will be used for acquisitions, expansions and infrastructure upgrades in its north and south markets.
