ZCool Network Technology Limited is a Chinese creative social network and artist platform that operates an e-commerce page HelloRF.com and distributes creative content. The company has been the exclusive distributor of Shutterstock’s creative content in China since 2014, and that partnership was extended in 2016. ZCool distributes creative images and video collections for commercial use and provides Shutterstock enterprise plans through Plus.HelloRF.com. Through its API, Shutterstock content on ZCool powers large technology platforms in China such as Tencent Social Ads and WPS Office. The company has nearly six million registered users. Shutterstock’s $15M investment deepens the partnership and Shutterstock has appointed a director to ZCool’s board; Shutterstock said the investment will further expand its presence in the Chinese markets.
