Zeedz launched a free-to-play mobile game in which players collect plant-inspired creatures called Zeedles to fight global carbon emissions. Zeedles hatch and evolve based on real-time weather and user care, and some require specific weather conditions. The game includes in-game educational resources about climate zones and actionable tips for reducing emissions, plus battle mechanics against the Evil Lord CO the 2nd. An NFT version and pre-orderable physical trading cards are available. The company announced a $1 million Seed round to help scale and market the game globally. Zeedz pledges 10% of company earnings and 50% of Marketplace profits to fund green projects with sustainability partner The Gold Standard.
