Zeekit
Rosenholmveien 25, Trollåsen, Akershus, 1414, Norway
Overview
Zeekit provides a mobile virtual fitting room that lets shoppers upload a full-body photo, tap a product seen online, in print or in store, and see how it looks and fits on their actual body. The app allows items to be mixed and matched from different retailers in a virtual closet, shared with friends, and purchased via a link in the app. Retailers and brands can incorporate a Zeekit button into online, mobile and physical stores to enable virtual try-ons across their catalogs. Zeekit has pursued publisher and brand partnerships to drive adoption, notably unveiling its product during New York Fashion Week with Rebecca Minkoff and integrating 180 pieces from StyleWatch’s Fall Trend Report. The company’s visualization technology was adapted from mapping tech developed in the Israeli Air Force by co-founder and CEO Yael Vizel and fellow Technion graduates Nir Appleboim and Alon Kristal. Zeekit is based in New York and recently completed a $9 million Series A financing.
