Overview
Zeet is an automated, cloud-native DevOps and deployment platform that lets developers move applications between clouds, reduce latency, and leverage specialized services from each cloud. Its system operates existing enterprise tooling and cloud services such as AWS Lambda, AWS RDS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Knative, and KEDA across AWS and Google Cloud Platform. Zeet runs in customers’ cloud accounts, enabling DevOps engineers to use familiar tools and allowing application engineers to create infrastructure, generate CI/CD pipelines, provision SSL certificates, and scale services via a Heroku-like interface. The company raised $4.3M in seed funding led by Sequoia Capital and plans to use the proceeds to accelerate hiring and add customers and developers to the platform. Investors include Race Capital and engineering leaders from AWS, Google, Twitch, Repl.it, Yelp, Sentry and others. Zeet was co-founded by Johnny Dallas and Zihao Zhang. Zeet is a DevOps platform that automates application deployment by connecting to a customer's cloud account and removing manual infrastructure tasks. Developers bring code from GitHub or Docker Hub; the platform analyzes the source, defines required elements, and builds applications without requiring CI tools like Jenkins or Travis CI. Applications can be deployed transparently across multiple clouds and configured for monitoring with enterprise tools such as PagerDuty, Datadog, or Dynatrace. Zeet differentiates from typical PaaS providers by allowing customers to deploy into their own cloud providers and by helping minimize customers' cloud costs. The company has been adopted by over 17,000 developers and companies, and its team-focused product has experienced 50% month-over-month revenue growth over the past six months; the cofounder declined to disclose exact revenue figures. Following a $2 million seed round led by Race Capital, Zeet plans to expand its engineering and marketing teams to meet growing demand.
