Zenaton
25, rue des Mathurins, Paris, Ile-de-France, 75008, France
Overview
Zenaton offers a workflow-as-a-service that lets developers build and run workflows and manage asynchronous jobs and background tasks by installing a Zenaton agent on worker servers. The product removes the need to maintain queuing systems, cron jobs, and database migrations for transient workflow state. Zenaton currently integrates with PHP and Node applications and is working on additional language support starting with Python, Ruby and Java. The company handles millions of workflow instances for a large client and offers a free tier for up to 250,000 tasks per month; paid plans start at $49 per month and scale with RAM consumption. Zenaton raised $2.35 million in a funding round led by Accel and Point Nine Capital, with participation from the Slack Fund, Kima Ventures, Julien Lemoine and Francis Nappez. Co-founder and CEO Gilles Barbier, previously at The Family, said the product is young but promising; Zenaton is part of The Family’s portfolio.
