Overview
Zero Networks offers a radically simple, agentless microsegmentation solution that automates asset tagging and policy creation to stop lateral movement and contain ransomware. Its unified platform also includes Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Identity Least Privilege capabilities, anchored by a patented, MFA-driven enforcement model. The company says its approach implements segmentation in days and saves enterprises an average of 86% on total cost of ownership versus legacy microsegmentation solutions. Since its Series B, Zero Networks has tripled its customer base, doubled headcount, and achieved more than 300% revenue growth, with record-breaking growth in 2024 and consistently high customer reviews. Product and go-to-market expansion plans include increased investment in sales, marketing, R&D, and customer support across North America, EMEA, and APAC to support continued innovation and adoption. Zero Networks offers an automated SaaS platform that learns all network traffic and generates granular security policies to restrict user and machine access to only necessary assets. The platform also enables secure connections for remote employees and third parties using zero trust principles while maintaining strong network performance. The company serves a diverse roster of customers across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, including banks, retailers, manufacturers, a global shipping company, hospitals, law firms, construction, telecom, and public sector institutions. Zero Networks is led by CEO Benny Lakunishok and CTO Amir Frankel. The company plans to use new funding to expand operations and recruit development, marketing, and sales personnel to grow its business reach. To date the company has raised a total of $45M. Zero Networks offers an MFA-based automatic segmentation platform that applies just-in-time privileged access to prevent lateral movement and the spread of ransomware. Its patented approach enables MFA for every asset and device and automatically restricts network access to exactly what is needed across client, server, home, office, on-premises, or cloud environments. The product deploys as an agentless virtual appliance (not inline) that enforces policy via a remote controller for firewalls and is designed to deploy in minutes while minimizing user disruption. Zero Networks automates segmentation for normal usage and applies MFA-based restrictions for privileged protocols or abnormal activity to stop infections from spreading. The company intends to expand its pioneering, effortless segmentation offering to stop ransomware and lateral movement at scale. As of this announcement the company has raised $20.3M in a Series A and $25M in total funding to date. Zero Networks unveiled the Zero Networks Access Orchestrator, a platform that automatically defines, enforces and adapts user- and machine-level network access policies to create a continuous zero trust model at scale. The product provides autonomous policy enforcement, airtight least-privilege security, and scalable access control without agents or manual policy configuration. The orchestrator is in beta with customers in manufacturing, energy, retail and public sectors and will be commercially available at the end of Q1 2020. Founders Benny Lakunishok and Jossef Harush bring experience from Aorato (acquired by Microsoft) and CyberX, respectively. The company was named a finalist for the RSAC Launch Pad and will debut the platform at the RSA Conference. Zero Networks announced $4.65 million in seed funding to accelerate product development and hire engineering, marketing, sales and business development staff.
