ZeroCarb Lyfe produces low-carb, high-protein pizza crusts and pre-made pizzas made primarily from chicken breast, olive oil, salt and spices. The company markets its products as gluten-free, diabetic-friendly and keto-friendly. Since founding in April 2020, its products are available on menus in more than 300 restaurants and in over 480 retail stores nationwide. Revenue grew from $650,000 in 2021 to $1.8 million in 2022; the company currently has 22 full-time employees and plans to add 2–3 more this year. The recent funding is intended to support national expansion, expand the B2B distribution footprint (from 18 distribution houses toward a target of over 50), grow retail presence, and fuel new food products.
