ZeroMark

228 Park Avenue South, Suite 61220, New York, 10003, United States

Overview

ZeroMark sells a rifle-mounted "fire control system" that combines a small computer with lidar and electro-optical sensors, machine vision, ballistic calculations, and a motorized buttstock to refine aim. The device can be attached to nearly any infantry rifle in about 30 seconds and is claimed to make hitting a small drone at 200 yards as easy as hitting a 60-foot-diameter circle. The company has added licensing, remote activation, and fleet-management features to control use of the systems. Some devices are already fielded with private security firms protecting assets such as large boats, and ZeroMark is in talks to export units to Ukraine and to pursue small-scale testing and evaluation with the U.S. Department of Defense. The team currently numbers seven people; the startup plans to use new capital for headcount and research and development. Founded in September 2022 and based in New York City, the company says it envisions applying its software to additional soldier- and force-protection platforms and interfaces like head-up displays or audible alerts.
