To support international expansion Zerto opened offices in the U.K. and Australia and grew its channel to 500 partners and a cloud ecosystem of 170 service providers. Product developments in 2014 included Zerto Virtual Replication 3.5 with offsite backup, and support for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Hyper‑V, plus hypervisor‑agnostic replication, continuous data protection, and automated DR orchestration. The company is focused on enabling seamless application mobility across hypervisors, clouds and storage to improve IT service continuity. Zerto also expanded partner training (more than 1,250 partner certifications) and reported traction across verticals including finance, healthcare, manufacturing and oil and gas. Zerto develops hypervisor-based disaster recovery and replication software (Zerto Virtual Replication, ZVR) designed for virtualized data centers and cloud service providers. ZVR 3.0 delivers VM-level replication across virtualized workloads and extends the Software Defined Data Center vision to business continuity and disaster recovery. The company has expanded its Zerto Cloud Disaster Recovery Ecosystem from 33 to more than 100 cloud providers and added enterprise customers across finance, healthcare and retail. Zerto doubled its workforce during 2012 to support global sales, operations and support. The product has received industry recognition (VMworld Best of Show and Product of the Year awards) and the company is focused on accelerating go-to-market, expanding development and cloud product teams, and growing sales and marketing to serve a rapidly growing enterprise base.
