Zesty builds an AI-driven platform that predicts application resource needs using real-world and synthetic cloud usage data and automatically adjusts resources in real time. The platform can shrink and expand storage by transforming filesystem volumes into a virtual disk of multiple volumes and buys or sells public cloud compute in response to app usage. Zesty targets CPU, RAM, storage and instance-type adjustments to cut waste and free DevOps teams from manual cloud tuning. The company says it has grown to over 300 customers, including Heap, Armis and WalkMe, and reports an annual run rate in the "tens of millions." Zesty plans to use new funding to support product development and expand headcount from 120 to 160 by the end of the year.
