Zevo
2636 Walnut Hill Ln Ste 110A, Dallas, TX, 75229, United States
Overview
Zevo operates an electric-vehicle–only, peer-to-peer car-sharing platform similar to Turo but focused exclusively on EVs. The startup emphasizes a contactless, connectivity-first experience that leverages EV telematics to automate insurance, invoicing, tolls, supercharging and other operational friction points. About 90% of renters use Zevo vehicles for gig work such as Uber, Lyft or DoorDash, and roughly 90% of the fleet are Teslas. In roughly 10 months of operation the company reported tracking over $8 million in annualized recurring revenue and has a waitlist of more than 3,500 customers. Zevo says hosts see median rentals of around 80 days and can recoup 35%–65% of a car’s cost within a year; the company also argues EVs require less maintenance and deliver more uptime. Founders Hebron Sher and Saimah Chaudhry plan to expand into more major U.S. cities and aim to grow toward $100M ARR with a lean team.
