Zhenye New Materials focuses on producing high-strength, high-toughness ADI (austempered ductile iron) grades and in 2024 achieved a technological breakthrough enabling series production of materials such as QTD 1200-10, QTD 1400-7 and QTD 1700-4. The company states that its ADI materials offer lower weight (about 10% lighter than alloy steel), reduced operational noise and lower part costs compared with traditional alloyed steel, and meet or exceed national standards for high-strength, high-toughness applications. Zhenye is working with several automakers on joint R&D for core components including gears, drivetrains and chassis parts. The firm plans to accelerate technological development and expand production capacity to increase market penetration in automotive, commercial vehicle and construction machinery applications.
