Zhongke Qingneng
Zhongyuan Science and Technology City 8th Floor, Building B, Innovation Incubation Base, Zhengzhou, Henan, China
Overview
Founded in June 2022 and led by CEO Pan Weiwei, Zhongke Qingneng focuses on ultra-low-temperature technologies (below ~20K) for advanced fields such as magnetic-confinement fusion, hydrogen energy, aerospace, and quantum computing. The company has developed domestic capabilities across hardware and control software, breaking technical barriers previously dominated by foreign firms. Its proprietary helium refrigerator achieves about -269°C with 3 kW cooling capacity and is deployed at the CRAFT fusion research facility. Zhongke’s 1-ton-per-day hydrogen liquefaction unit supported Long March 8 launches and has recorded China’s longest continuous runtime, and a 5-ton-per-day unit has completed assembly and supply contracts with commercial operation targeted for September 2026. The firm intends to expand R&D and commercialize large hydrogen liquefaction plants, fusion-reactor cooling systems, and next-generation quantum low-temperature sensing platforms. The articles do not report company revenue or user metrics.
