Zify Tech Solutions operates a ride-sharing app and reports more than 11,000 registered users, 8,000 of whom were acquired in the past two months. The company has operations in Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Bangalore and offers an in-app wallet for cashless transactions. It raised $190,000 (Rs 1.2 crore) in angel funding to fund technology development and marketing strategies. Zify plans to expand to other metro cities within the next six months and is in talks with venture capital funds for a Series A round. The startup was founded in 2014 by Anurag Rathor and Pramod Kumar; Rathor previously worked as a technology specialist with Wells Fargo and Kumar previously worked at Yatra.com. Zify previously raised Rs 10 lakh in May 2014 from Srini Koppolu, 50K Ventures, Parampara Funds and the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of IIIT Hyderabad.
