ZipDrug operates an online prescription delivery platform that allows patients to request one-hour medication delivery via its app, website, or through pharmacy websites. After a physician e-prescribes, patients enter insurance/payment and a delivery address; medications are delivered within one hour for a $10 fee, with delivery teams collecting digital signatures and confirming drop-off with pharmacies. The platform can be white-labeled on pharmacy sites, healthcare providers can order deliveries directly, and pharmacies without a ZipDrug account can also use the service. ZipDrug is currently piloting the service with pharmacy partners in New York City. The company plans to expand its delivery service to at least two more densely populated areas, add sales and engineering staff, and pursue partnerships with other digital-health startups such as Pager. Financially, ZipDrug completed a $2 million Seed round following a prior convertible-debt financing and remains in pilot stage.
