Zipzero is a London-based fintech that enables users to economically benefit from the value of their shopping data. Via its app, users are rewarded for sharing any shopping receipt—physical or digital—with cash rewards that can be used to pay recurring household bills such as utilities, phone, internet and council tax. The company is led by CEO Mohsin Rashid and already has more than 100,000 users in the UK. Zipzero has partnerships with major retailers including Asda, Boots, eBay and Sainsbury's to allow customers to earn cash toward household bill payments each time they shop. It plans to use new funding to grow its platform further, secure additional partnerships with retailers and brands, and give consumers value and autonomy over their personal shopping data. The company recently raised £1M in Seed funding.
