Overview

Zolve offers banking and credit products to high‑skilled global citizens relocating to the U.S., using applicants' home‑country credit history to underwrite accounts on day one. The product set today includes checking accounts and credit cards, with plans to introduce loans starting with auto loans and later expanding to personal and education loans. The startup has amassed 750,000 customers since launch and has processed over $1.2 billion in transactions to date. Zolve reported $25 million in net revenue last year. The company aims to expand geographically, planning to enter Canada by July or August and the UK and Australia the following year. Longer term, it intends to build a connected financial network to serve users moving between Western and Asian markets. Zolve offers banking and credit products for immigrants, including the Zolve Debit Card, Zolve Credit Card and Zolve Azpire Credit Card, with accounts issued by Community Federal Savings Bank. The platform has attracted around 500,000 users since its inception and has facilitated more than $600M in transactions. Led by founder Raghunandan G, the company positions itself to expand its financial services internationally. Zolve plans to use new financing to grow across the UK, Canada and Australia. The cards and accounts are issued and offered by Community Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC. The company previously raised $15M in a seed round and a subsequent $40M raise in October 2021. Zolve is a Bangalore-headquartered neobanking startup focused on helping immigrants gain access to U.S. financial services. Its core product is a credit card, complemented by a local bank account and debit card, with Zolve underwriting risk so partner banks can offer services without security deposits. The startup rolled out its credit card to 2,000 customers and has a waiting list exceeding 70,000, with customers widely using the product and paying on time. Customers have deposited about $2 million into Zolve accounts and are often using them as primary bank accounts. The company has grown headcount from five earlier this year to roughly 100 and plans to hire 150 more people. Zolve plans to expand offerings to immigrants from several additional countries early next year. Zolve is a neobanking platform aimed at individuals moving from India to the U.S. (and vice versa) that works with banks in both countries to provide seamless access to financial products. The startup underwrites the risk for partner banks, enabling customers to open accounts and obtain services as if they were banking with a national institution. Beyond basic banking, Zolve lets customers in India buy U.S.-listed shares and purchase cryptocurrency from exchanges based in the U.S. or Europe. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and Bangalore and was founded by Raghunandan G, who previously started TaxiForSure. Zolve has amassed more than 5,000 customers and has revenue-sharing arrangements with its banking partners. Because it onboards customers in India while generating much of its revenue from U.S. partners, the company says it is already operating on a profitable model.
