Zon operates a decentralized, mobile-only e-commerce platform that gives consumers access to a large network of retailers across the UAE and delivers orders via decentralized fulfillment and geo-tracking technology. Led by CEO Arif Saiyad, the company aims to make every product available 24/7 across all locations in the emirates. Zon has signed up over 32,000 sellers and has more than 17 million SKUs registered on its platform. The company closed an $8m seed funding round to continue developing its system. Zon planned to launch its customer app in the second quarter of 2020.
