Zonetail provides a custom branded mobile app and platform for hotels that connects guests to the full range of hotel services and businesses in the surrounding neighbourhood. The app is free for hotels to use; the company generates revenue from retail advertising from the surrounding area. To date it has signed agreements with more than 100 hotel properties across 10 Canadian provinces and 15 U.S. states, including three offshore hotels, and is in negotiations with major international chains for chain-wide launches. The company plans to use its platform beyond hotels—targeting condos, office towers, and large-scale events.
