Zongmu Technology develops ADAS and autonomous-driving products including surround-view multifunction controllers, customized surround-view ADAS solutions, and core algorithm software licensing. The company has launched multiple production-ready products since its 2013 founding and supplies major domestic automakers with significant mass-production orders. Using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820A automotive platform, Zongmu's first highly autonomous low-speed autonomous-parking product is in pre-production validation and was expected to enter mass production in 2020. In three years the company transitioned from a tier-2 to a tier-1 supplier and established an industry-recognized factory. Zongmu is headquartered in Shanghai's Pudong Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park with R&D branches in Beijing and Shenzhen. Management says the company will deepen cooperation with international ADAS and autonomous-driving semiconductor partners to build a product line from assisted driving to autonomous driving and to expand in China and overseas markets. ZongMu Technology, founded in January 2013 and headquartered in Shanghai Pudong Zhangjiang Hi‑Tech Park, develops advanced driver assistance systems including 2D and 3D panoramic vision, self-parking solutions, and driving recording systems. The company has research and development subsidiaries in Beijing and Shenzhen and employs more than 100 people. ZongMu reports strategic partnerships with multiple OEMs and tier-one suppliers and says its products have been used by carmakers including Geely and SAIC Motor. Reported revenue grew from RMB111,300 in 2014 to RMB3.2 million in 2015 and was expected to reach RMB42 million in 2016, which the company attributes to new product launches and increased sales. Following a recent listing on China’s New Third Board, ZongMu plans to use capital to improve corporate operations, accelerate R&D in self-driving technology, and establish a Xiamen subsidiary to develop ADAS-related sensors and extend its production chain. The company also showcased work with Qualcomm at CES, including Snapdragon 820A demonstrations and a Cellular V2X trial in Germany.
