Zoojoo.be (Uber Health Tech Private Ltd) builds social wellness apps for corporate staffers, offering gamified health challenges and an online tracking interface. Employees pick customised health challenges, track activities, earn points and form teams with coworkers to drive behavioural change. The platform claims over 35,000 users across clients such as Mindtree, Unisys and GE and operates in India and the UAE. Founded in August 2013 and incubated at IIM Bangalore, the company previously raised undisclosed seed capital in May last year from a group of investors. At the time of the raise the team comprised eight staffers including co-founders Anandraj Koormapolu, Moovendran A and CEO Avinash Saurabh. Zoojoo.be plans to use recent funding to hire behavioural‑science and product‑development experts to expand and improve its offering.
