Overview

ZoomAgri offers a SaaS platform that uses AI to determine variety and quality of cereals and oilseeds, supporting testing, inspection, certification and traceability across Agri & Food supply chains. Its AI models are powered by an image database of more than 250 million individual images. The company serves exporters, processors, grain handlers, seed companies, surveyors and laboratories and has customers in over 25 countries. ZoomAgri has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Australia and Spain and is headquartered in Madrid. The startup plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and to expand operations into Canada and the United States in the coming months. Financially, it completed a $6M Series A that brought total capital raised to $11M. ZoomAgri offers a "vision-as-a-service" (VaaS) platform that combines computer vision, machine learning and IoT to digitize testing, inspection and certification (TIC) in agricultural commodities and food. Its first product, ZoomBarley, launched in 2018 and determines the purity of malting barley in real time; it is available on five continents and used by customers including AB InBev, Boortmalt, Soufflet, InVivo, Malteurop, Estrella Damm, Holland Malt, Malteria Oriental, Avangard Malz and Ireks. The company also sells ZoomAgriSpex to assess the physical quality of grains and oilseeds in real time, targeting classification errors, delays, subjectivity, fraud and high costs. ZoomAgri ships hardware to users at zero initial cost and monetizes via per-analysis fees or a monthly unlimited plan. It serves customers across 18 countries and maintains a database of over 100 million unique images of various grains and oilseeds. Headquartered in Spain and mainly operating in Argentina, ZoomAgri positions its tools as a way to improve supply-chain efficiency, traceability and reduce waste and resource use.
