It is active in Bangalore and Mumbai and is led by CEO Arnav Kumar. Gozoomo plans imminent launches in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad and Chandigarh. The company raised $5M and intends to use the proceeds to strengthen operations, technology and product leadership in its niche. Zoomo is a mobile peer-to-peer marketplace that helps users buy and sell verified, well-maintained, fairly priced used cars from individual sellers. The app lists only genuine cars from verified individuals and offers certification, background checks, paperwork support, and assistance with loans and insurance for buyers. It currently lists over 1,800 cars and has more than 1,200 active subscribers, and sends in-time alerts and personalized recommendations to users. The Android-only app operates in Bangalore and plans to expand services within the city and to other major cities, including Mumbai, over the next six months. Zoomo was founded in July this year by Arnav Kumar, Himangshu Hazarika, and Aniket Behera, who previously co-founded the web app Sokartik. The company is owned and operated by YoungMonk Technologies Pvt Ltd.
