Zudy develops a breakthrough no-code, declarative point-and-click platform that enables enterprises to build highly configurable mobile and web applications in days rather than months. The technology is designed to turn web and mobile into one and is technology-agnostic, integrating with cloud systems such as SalesForce, WorkDay, SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics. It also connects with on-premise RDBMS including SQL, Oracle, IBM and SAP Hana as well as NoSQL systems like Cassandra. Zudy says customers can increase new-application output from fewer than ten to more than 50 per year, and the company plans to launch the first public release of its platform in Q1 2015. The company is headquartered in Miami Beach, Florida, with satellite offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Ottawa, Ontario. Zudy will use the $7.5 million in funding for key hires, R&D and to build out its partner program. Thomas R. Kennedy, Jr., who previously founded BackOffice Associates, will lead the development effort as co-founder and CTO.
