Zuli develops the Zuli Smartplug and Presence technology that use smartphone location to automate lights, temperature, and other devices in each room. Zuli demonstrated integration with Research Frontiers' SPD-SmartGlass at Research Frontiers' annual meeting, showing automated window tint control alongside lighting and thermostat adjustments. The company ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014 and subsequently raised a seed round led by investors including Menlo Ventures, Logitech, and Winklevoss Capital.
