Zus is building a shared data platform that lets doctors and health-tech companies access standardized patient records across specialties. Its core offerings include a data aggregation service to standardize medical records, a platform that enables multiple clinicians to view the same information, a patient portal for transparency, and a growing library of software tools such as patient relationship management. The company plans a community-based marketplace for digital health companies to set up and trade clinical notes. Zus launched alongside recent regulatory shifts from the 21st Century Cures Act that expand patient data access and portability. The platform is already in use by four partners: Cityblock Health, Dorsata, Firefly Health and Oak Street Health. Zus aims to accelerate digital health product development by commoditizing parts of the infrastructure stack so startups can move from years to weeks or months.
