Zutux Limited is a Trafford Park, Manchester–based furniture manufacturer that makes fitted kitchen and bedroom furniture as well as free-standing items including book shelves, desks and multi-media storage units. The company was founded in January 2010 by managing director Roger Butterworth and director Kevin Charles and operates headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Trafford Park. Zutux employs 45 staff. The firm received a £950k investment from the North West Fund for Development Capital, managed by YFM Equity Partners. Zutux intends to use the proceeds to grow its range of products for business and online customers. Sir Eric Peacock, chairman of Halo International, will join the company’s board as non-executive chairman.
