Fieldbit develops real-time augmented reality collaboration solutions that enable on-site service engineers to collaborate with experts back in the service center and receive guidance to resolve issues quickly. Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Evyatar Meiron, the company is based in Veghel, the Netherlands. Its core product is a software platform for real-time AR collaboration in manufacturing and field services. Under a collaboration agreement with Actemium (the VINCI Energies brand dedicated to industrial processes) and Axians NL (a provider of design, building and maintenance of industrial systems), Fieldbit will supply those partners with a platform for developing specialized, customized applications. Those applications are intended for customers to optimize AR capabilities in manufacturing and field services. Financially, Fieldbit raised €2M in funding as disclosed in the article.
