  Fitplan is a Los Angeles-based workout app founded in 2016 by Landon Hamilton and Cam Speck that offers step-by-step exercise demonstrations and curated training programs. The app charges $15.99 per month or $83.99 per year and features trainers who create sports-specific and general fitness plans. Fitplan says it has data on over 5 million workouts completed; the average member completes 2.7 workouts per week with an average session length of 58 minutes. Most users are aged 18–35 and the base skews roughly 70% women, though the founders hope sports-focused regimens will help balance that disparity. The company is explicitly moving into sports-specific training and has recruited marquee athletes and trainers to build out those offerings. Recent trainer additions include Alex Rodriguez, Christian McCaffrey, Ryan Lochte, Hattie Boyd, Corey Calliet, Danni Bell, and Sommer Ray. Fitplan closed a $4.5 million funding round to help recruit new trainers and expand its sports-focused content. Fitplan Technologies connects users with one-on-one curated fitness plans created by influential trainers and athletes. The app offers over 50 Fitplans produced by more than 35 trainers and serves a community of about 167,000 members. Fitplans span 3–12 week programs with daily routines (30–90 minutes per session, 3–6 days per week) and include additional one-time Freestyle workouts for home or gym use across all fitness levels. The company is available on iPhone and Android and emphasizes affordable, elite-level personal training delivered digitally. Following the recent funding, Fitplan plans to further develop the product experience, grow its community, recruit more top fitness talent, and expand its team through new hires.
