Founded in Cagayan de Oro City, Hyperstacks builds API-based infrastructure that allows rural, thrift, commercial, and digital banks—as well as electronic money issuers—to plug into the Philippines’ national real-time payment systems. Its platform eliminates costly legacy integrations, helping more than 10 banks boost digital competitiveness and onboarding five of them as direct InstaPay participants. To date, Hyperstacks has processed over PHP 5 billion in digital payment transactions. The company generates revenue by providing these connectivity and processing services, though specific figures were not disclosed. With fresh capital, Hyperstacks plans to scale its payments infrastructure, increase bank onboarding capacity, and accelerate development of open-banking features for data sharing and third-party integrations. The firm previously raised US$1 million in a 2021 angel round and received grant support from the Department of Science and Technology. It is now pursuing up to US$3 million in seed funding to further expand its capabilities.
